Summer Bash: Waratahs chase down Kookaburra total

To close out a rain-interrupted Summer Bash campaign, our boys put together a good all round effort to get the win against the Kookaburras last night. Jonty Durrheim (73* off 43 balls) continued a great patch of form and showed off his destructive best towards the back end of his innings with 5 big sixes. Jonty's starring performance was crucial in the chase of the Kookaburra's total of 7/133 batting first, and was helped along with a steadying partnership with Dean Marjoribanks (19) after an early run of wickets.
Earlier with the ball in hand, Jack Dundas (3/28 off 4 overs) took some big scalps to put the brakes on the Kookaburras innings after they raced to 1/73 inside the first 10 overs. Nathan Hudson (1/18 off 4) and Blake Morley (1/23 off 4) put in good shifts to restrict the back half of the innings to a par total.
Josh Westwood was the best for the Kookas with the double of 65 from 53 balls and 1/9 off 4 overs.
