Facilities

Waratah-Mayfield District Cricket Club’s facilities include two turf cricket grounds in Waratah Park, Waratah. Also at the main ground, Waratah Oval, are turf practice wickets as well as two external synthetic wickets. All wickets are maintained by our head curator, Simon Porter. His hard work has brought these grounds and wickets up to the highest standard with good consistent bounce and carry.

Facilities at the ground include a grandstand with change rooms and showers for players and officials as well as a first aid room. Other facilities at the ground include a canteen serving food and beverages during games and at training, as well as a club barbeque. Plenty of car parking and spectator seating is available at the ground.

Our major sponsor, the Mayfield West Bowling Club, hosts the end of day wrap-up and after-game drinks as well as many functions throughout the year. There is a bistro style restaurant located within the club.
